What is wrong with this place? Everywhere I look there is chaos, destruction, greed, hate, poverty, and hunger. There is no semblance of order there is only hectic bullshit posturing and evil conniving. Around every corner there is another example of our absolute inability to live in peace. We kill each other. We rape each other. We see genocide and look away. We see evil and tyranny in every direction but never bother to see it in our own eyes. We say to our neighbor 'I have nothing to give', and then throw away food we can't eat and clothes we grow tired of. Doesn't anyone else see this.

The United States of America goes to war with Iraq in the name of national security and democracy. We are talking about a major superpower invading a country one quarter its size and population. Invading a country whose leader's only crime is creulty, whose military lacked the strength to even think of invading a neighboring country after Desert Storm. Does this make any sense. The Iraqi government lacked the capability to consider an attack on American soil. So reasons of national security are bunk. The Iraqi people may claim to want democracy but were, at the time of the invasion, scarcely motivated to do anything about it on their own. So it has become American foreign policy to use brute force to bully lesser nations into falling in line with their political ideologies. And whats next? Where does America turn after Iraq is coerced to democracy? Does anyone remember the "Domino Effect"? They wont stop until everyone falls in line with their ideology. They will kill and maim and torture. They will use policy to starve the hungry and withhold aid for the sick, and the needy. That is their only foreign policy now.
